Wirral's children's centres launch virtual groups for families

Wirral's children's centres are expanding their support for families and under fives with the roll out of their online group class offer.

In response to the coronavirus, children's centre classes have been temporarily canceled. To continue their virtual support for families, the council's early years team are launching an offer of virtual groups for parents or carers and their little ones.

Building on their popular online video class timetable that has been hosted on the council's My Child Can page, the new offer will see classes take place online using a video call feature. A list of the classes on offer can be found in the table below. Parents who are in need of advice or support or just a chance to chat about their  child development are encourgaed to contact their local children’s centre.
